The patch that frees Assassin's Creed Unity from the shackles imposed by the Assassin's Creed Unity Companion app for Android and iOS and the Assassin's Creed Initiates website has been delayed for PC users.
In case you haven't heard, the latest patch, which is already available on Xbox One and PS4, fixes a number of issues with the game, while also unlocking the in-game content that could previously only be accessed through the Companion App.
Ubisoft didn't state when Patch 5 would be hitting the PC, but they did say that there are PC-specific fixes in the patch. The fixes should be targeting game performance, connectivity and general stability issues. Unfortunately, the update wasn't stable enough to hit the PC now, which is most unfortunate.
Any way — Ubisoft revealed the delay through Twitter in this post:
The release of Patch 5 for PC has been delayed, we will have more news on this soon.
