Ubisoft details The Division’s Season Pass content

Three major content add-ons to release

A while back, it was reported that The Division would indeed be getting a season pass. A no brainer given our current state of video games. However, up until today, players had no idea what to expect from future content drops. After all, the Season Pass retails at a rather expensive $40, which is traditionally $10-$20 more expensive than other Ubisoft Season Passes.

The Season Pass will come with three major add-ons, however, only two of them are detailed thus far. Here is the full listing:

Expansion I: Underground
This first major expansion opens up a new area to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to 3 friends for intense co-op action.

Expansion II: Survival
In this expansion, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment that will challenge even the most talented agents.

Expansion III: Last Stand
Stay tuned for more information.

Currently, the game does have some underground segments in the form of sewers and subway stations, but it looks like the first add-on will be adding larger maps to the underground. The second certainly seems like more of a Horde Mode than a story add-on, but perhaps Massive will be able to weave a narrative into it as well. As for The Last Stand, we'll have to wait until we know what that entails.

The Season Pass comes with some extra perks as well. Here is the full list:

  • The Division Expansion I: Underground

  • The Division Expansion II: Survival

  • The Division Expansion III: Last Stand

  • Exclusive Sawed-off Shotgun, a unique sidearm customized for short-range destruction

  • Full set of exclusive outfits and weapon skins

  • Special monthly benefits including exclusive content drops and special events
