Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their upcoming short film, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Alpha.
The new trailer gives us a sneak peek at the action-packed short film, showing the Ghosts on a high-risk covert operation to take out a high-value target.
The actual short film itself is a 25-minute prequel to the Tom Clancy"s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier video game. It follows the Ghosts as they are dropped deep behind enemy lines to eliminate one of the worlds most sought-after war criminals.
Ghost Recon Alpha is "deeply connected" to the video game featuring the four main characters that are playable in Future Soldier. The story of the movie takes place immediately before a "key turning point" in the game's storyline and the location of the movie will be one of the multiplayer maps available in the adversarial mode of the game.
If that weren't enough to get you interested, it should be noted that a secret code hidden in the movie, enabling access via Ghost Recon Network to an exclusive weapon unlock playable in Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
