Ubisoft’s free game for August revealed

Ubisoft has been alive and kicking for the last 30 years and while they explore new horizons in the movie business, they are celebrating their gaming achievements. Between June and December, Ubisoft will be giving away one free game a month for a total of seven free games.

Ubisoft kicked off the anniversary celebration with Prince of Persia being made free for June and followed it up with a free Splinter Cell in July. With August upon us, it's time for our next free game! For the entirety of August, Rayman Origins will be free to download on uPlay.

To grab Rayman Origins head over to Ubisoft Club and click "Get the game now" and the installation will begin (as long as you have uPlay downloaded). When the installation is complete, the game can be found in the Uplay library. These free anniversary games are not demos or free trials, downloading the game will give you complete ownership over that copy.

*Note: Rayman Origins will likely be available on the 15th. Splinter Cell was revealed on the 10th, then released on the 15th.
