Ubisoft starts off Gamescom press conference with two F2P titles

If you've been patiently waiting for Ubisoft's press conference to kick off with some amazing games at Gamescom 2012, you might want to dial it back down a bit.

Ubisoft kicked their presentation off with two Free to Play titles, both involving your browser. That's right, apparently that's all you'll need when these two titles will be available to play. Silent Hunter Online is a submarine combat game which will allow you to plan tactics, and take part in a bunch of specialized missions to take down enemy submarines.

The second game, Anno Online, will have players building their own cities, tending farmland, and more. The game will encourage players to chat, trade and have other meaningful interactions amongst each other.

You can Apply for a beta key for Silent Hunter Online here, and Anno Online pre-registrations will open soon.
