Ultra Street Fighter 4 to reach consoles first, PC months later

Today Capcom confirmed that Ultra Street Fighter 4 will reach console players in early June 2014, but PC gamers will be waiting until August.

The publisher wants Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players to be able to practice as soon as possible for the Evolution 2014 tournament in July.

"Apologies to our PC fans, as we did want to release simultaneously, but this was the only way that we could ensure that Ultra Street Fighter 4 would be included in the largest fighting game tournament in the world," Capcom wrote in a blog post.

The digital upgrade to Street Fighter 4 will cost $15 for all platforms. Since PC players have to wait a couple months, Capcom is discounting the full digital bundle for PC (including all previously released costumes) to $30. For Xbox 360 and PS3, the full digital and retail versions, bundled with the costumes, will cost $40.
