Umbrella Corps gets delayed a month, new information on player customization detailed

Umbrella Corps now releases on June 21

In the most recent Capcom blog post, fans of the new spin-off Resident Evil game, Umbrella Corps, will be sad to hear that the game has been delayed.

The delay is not a major one as it only pushes the game back a month. The new release date for Umbrella Corps is now June 21. The reason for this delay, as described in the post, states "so the development team can spend some extra time optimizing the game to bring you the best experience possible."

But it wasn’t all bad news, Capcom also released some new info on the game's customization options. In the new trailer which you can watch above, players will have an abundant amount of options to choose from when it comes to customizing their character, for example, unique uniforms colors to the attachments on their load outs.

Umbrella Corps is geared towards competitive team battles, supporting 1-6 players in adrenaline-fueled matches set in familiar locales from various Resident Evil games.

Umbrella Corps will be available for $29.99 when released on June 21. You can read our impressions from a recent hands-on event here.
