During the PlayStation Experience, developers Naughty Dog revealed what appeared to be the opening cinematic of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. While the footage was an absolute testament to Naughty Dog's development abilities, it also revealed branching dialogue options.
At the time, there was no word on how in-depth the dialogue system would be, but since then Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann has revealed the details on the system. It looks like bad news for anyone that wanted the branching dialogue to have a constant presence in the game.
According to Druckmann, the branching dialogue will only be available in 'a few spots' of Uncharted 4.
"There's a few spots in the game where we felt a dialogue option would give us something interesting," Uncharted 4 creative director Neil Druckmann explained to Kinda Funny Gaming during an interview. "So with Sam talking to Nate about his previous adventures, we were like, 'Oh, this is kind of a cool nod to the fans' […] So where would Nate start the story, which one? Let's give the player the option and they can start the story however they want."
So, which Uncharted game was the best?
