Sony announced today that Uncharted 4's multiplayer beta, which will offered to anyone who purchases The Nathan Drake Collection, will take place this December 4th through December 13th.
While the dates are certainly welcomed news, actual details regarding the content of the beta remains a mystery.
Naughty Dog community strategist Arne Meyer promises more information, including "what's new with gameplay, and what modes and maps you can expect," will be shared in a "grand reveal" before the beta goes live. So… anytime between now and December 4th.
For those unfamiliar, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is a bundle of the first three games in the blockbuster franchise — Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception — that will be available on PlayStation 4 this October. With Uncharted 4 coming in 2016, The Nathan Drake Collection is the perfect time for PS4 owners to familiarize themselves with one of PlayStation's most iconic characters. For those on the fence, however, Sony just announced a demo for The Nathan Drake Collection will be available on September 29th, so you'll at least be able to try it out first.
