Uncharted and The Division players will enjoy Hideo Kojima’s new action game

If you've heard of the Metal Gear series, even in passing, then you know the name Hideo Kojima. Or if you heard about the debacle with Konami and the canceling of Silent Hills then you have probably heard his name once or twice. Kojima did an interview with Famitsu, a Japanese publication. And during the article Kojima answered some very interesting questions.

According to Kojima  anyone that likes playing games like The Division and Uncharted will have an easy time with his new title.

“I won’t say that it’s an open-world title, but those that enjoy playing today’s AAA titles such as The Division and Uncharted will be able to play it smoothly. When it gets announced some may thing that it’s not as way-out as they had expected, but I’m sure they’ll understand once they play it. The genre is action.”

Kojima also tells us that he would like to work on something for VR "but we don’t have anyone" and he believes that VR holds a "key to game development". If the Silent Hills Playable Trailer or the Metal Gear series is any example of what Kojima might do in VR if he had the chance, then the potential is both terrifying and intriguing.
