Uncharted developer, Naughty Dog, has not seen the Uncharted movie’s script

The writer behind the Uncharted film script, Joe Carnahan, has been talking about his work quite a bit. In a recent interview, Carnahan detailed that the script he wrote for the Uncharted movie was aiming for an R rating and would not be a straight Indiana Jones ripoff.

Before that, Carnahan put out some heavy hints about the film and showed off the "beast" of a script. Now, Naughty Dog's Creative Director behind The Last of Us and Uncharted 4, Neil Druckmann, is commenting on the upcoming Uncharted film, but it's definitely not in the same tone as Carnahan.

According to Druckmann, there isn't a single person at Naughty Dog that has read the script. No one knows what it is about or what its tone is.

Carnahan referred to the former writer at Naught Dog, Amy Hennig, who worked on the Uncharted series… But he never spoke with Naughty Dog.
