Uncharted movie removed from release schedule

Earlier this month, the Uncharted movie director, Joe Carnahan, promised us that the film was still happening. Unfortunately, It doesn't look promising for the film adaptation of Uncharted.

The movie was set to make its release on June 30th, 2017, but the Uncharted movie has been taken off of Sony's release schedule, according to Digital Journalism. It's really no surprise, David O’Rusell, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon and most recently Joe Carnahan have all been reported to be the director and no cast had been selected.

The movie was bound for delays.

Back in July 2014, it was announced that an Uncharted movie was would be releasing in July 2016. Then a year ago, the director left the project and the film ended up in development hell and since then not much has happened with the Uncharted movie besides the usual rumors about actors.

Hopefully this doesn't mean canceled.
