Universal and the Fast & Furious team have released a video tribute to actor Paul Walker, who passed away on November 30, 2013.
Walker was in his friend's red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when the car crashed into a light pole and burst into flames. Both Walker and his friend were declared dead at the scene.
Walker's breakthrough role was in 2001 when he starred opposite Vin Diesel in the action film The Fast and the Furious. This really jumpstarted his career as he continued to star in 2 Fast 2 Furious, Fast & Furious, Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6. Fast & Furious 7 was in the middle of filming at the time of Walker's death, and the film is on hiatus and production has halted as Universal decides how to proceed with the franchise.
Other notable roles of Walker's include Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, She's All That, The Skulls, Joy Ride, Timeline, Into the Blue, Eight Below and Running Scared.
