Unravel release date to be revealed in “next few weeks”

Neither EA nor Coldwood Interactive have been very forthcoming with the upcoming physics-based, puzzle-platformer, Unravel. Back in August, we got a look at a bit of the gameplay for Unravel, but since then we have only been getting a bit of information here and there.

The game was first revealed at E3 2015 and has yet to receive a release date, but that should be changing soon. Unravel's website (via NeoGaf) has been updated to say that the release date will be revealed "within the next few weeks," along with new footage and giveaways.

It’s been awhile since you’ve heard anything from us at Coldwood, so I thought I would provide an update. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been six months since Yarny and I were on stage at E3, unveiling Unravel for the first time. A few months later, we showed off some of the game’s more challenging puzzles at Gamescom, but we’ve been fairly quiet since then. We’ve been hard at work on the game (which recently hit alpha!) and we’re really excited to reveal the release date within the next few weeks, along with some new giveaways and footage of Yarny and Unravel.

It will be exciting to see what Coldwood has in store for our adventures with Yarny.
