Upcoming Open World Action RPG, ELEX gets new video

ELEX is an upcoming open-world RPG from Piranha Bytes, creators of the Risen and Gothic series' and will be hosting a showcase at E3 2016. They have recently released a brand new Mood video showing off a world struggling to find its identity.

The game takes place on a planet called Magalan that was once quite advanced technologically. A meteor came crashing down on the planet and everything changed.

Those who survived the catastrophe have found themselves in a struggle between magic and the mechanical factions that have retained the old ways from before the event. A mysterious element, Elex, brought to the world by the meteor, has the ability to power machines, unlock magical abilities, or transform life into new and different forms.

ELEX was first announced back in July of last year and we got a chance to get some up-close impressions of the game at Gamescom 2015.
