[Update] Bethesda wants you to vote on DOOM’s actual box art

[Update: The Twitter poll concluded this morning. Option B, the correct one, is DOOM's new cover art. Original story follows.]

The upcoming DOOM reboot has a lot on offer. It will be the first DOOM to release uncut in Germany. It plans to be “the best-looking game at 1080p at 60fps.” And it has heaps of new multiplayer features, chief among the level creator SnapMap.

If only it didn’t have crappy box art.

Thankfully, Bethesda is looking to patch up the game’s original, acid-washed, uninspired marine portrait by replacing it outright. The studio today began a four-day Twitter poll asking fans to select the cover they prefer from two reversible sleeves (top: option A; bottom: option B):

At the time of writing, roughly 23,400 votes have been cast, and option B holds a healthy lead at 64 percent.

DOOM will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 13.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
