Update: Bungie unable to fix Xur’s missing weapon bug

After hours of back and forth with Xur, Bungie has determined they are unable to fix whatever problem caused him to forget bringing weapons with this week's haul of Exotic goods in Destiny. So for this weekend, Xur will only offer Exotic armor.

Sort of explaining the problem, Bungie said on Twitter that they "can't safely alter Xur at this time." We don't know what went wrong or why, but at least you can rest easy knowing he'll return once again next weekend "with a full inventory, including an Exotic weapon."

Ummm… don't you mean multiple exotic weapons to make up for this weekend, Bungie?
