UPDATE: Microsoft has sent out a message to any Xbox One owner who attempted to purchase Fallout 4 during the $0 pricing error. Apparently we are getting $10 for the trouble, which will make the Digital Deluxe version $100 instead of $110. If all you're after is the Season Pass, you can now get it at $40.
Original Story: I guess we aren't S.P.E.C.I.A.L. (haha) enough to keep our free copies of Fallout 4. If you were one of those (like me) that took advantage of the free-to-purchase Fallout 4 Digital Deluxe Bundle mix up yesterday, expect to have your license pulled today.
According to a statement given to Neowin, Microsoft is saying that they will not be honoring the mixup and that those Xbox One owners can expect that those free copies of Fallout 4 will be removed automatically perĀ end-user licensing agreements with Bethesda and Microsoft.
Xbox Support confirmed that the pricing error was a result of "maintenance on the server" which led to pricing errors of several items.
Sorry guys, but you can kind of see where Microsoft is coming from on this one.
