[Update] Knack 2 Gets a Demo Released in Europe, Australia, and the US

Update:  The PlayStation Store has an update to include Knack 2 on the US marketplace. We humbly retract our salt and offer a link to the demo instead.

Knack 2, the sequel to the PlayStation exclusive Knack, now has a free demo on the PlayStation Store. The catch? It's only available in Europe and Australia.

It's unclear why the demo was only released there, but with the game's release scheduled for next week, it seems unlikely that it will come state-side before launch. For those who can play, it's 2.6 GB in size and can be downloaded here.

The original Knack was a sleeper hit. It was very popular with those who played it, but was commercially looked over on its release. Despite this, the game has received long-term success and is still in the top 20 games sold on US PSN today.

Designer Mark Cerny said in 2014 that Knack has a lot of room to grow. "I would love to keep working with the [Knack] brand, definitely. There's a lot unexplored there, I think anybody who played the game would tell you that."

Knack 2 releases on September 5, 2017.
