Update on Hearthstone Android tablet and iPhone/Android Phone release

We've been hearing about Hearthstone making its way to Android tablets, iPhones and Android phones for a while, but where is Blizzard in development? When will we be seeing the finished product?

Luckily for us, Blizzard sat down for a Hearthside Chat on the subject. The Hearthstone team started on the Android tablet and revealed that it will be coming to us 'before the end of the year.'

Great! What about the iPhone and Android phones? Those versions need a little more work – the user interface is something they really want to get right:

"One of the biggest challenges with that is revamping the user interface so it feels intuitive and offers the same quality Hearthstone experience, but this time from the palm of your hand.

Releasing Hearthstone on iPhone and Android phones is something we’re incredibly excited about, but ultimately we’d rather take the extra time to make Hearthstone’s user interface on the phone customized to feel great for the platform, rather than a port that doesn’t take into account the limitations of a smaller screen."

We were given a window of release for the iPhone and Android phone version of Hearthstone though, it's coming 'early next year.'
