Up until now, all we've really known regarding the launch date for Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is that it's supposedly due out this year. The joint project between Level-5 and Studio Ghibli is on a lot of RPG fans' radars, and with its rich anime art style, it should come as no surprise that a lot of gamers are eager to play it.
Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino recently stated that Ni no Kuni would land in North America this winter. He wasn't very specific, but at least we have an idea as to when we can expect the game to arrive. "Our top priority for the western release of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is to localize the game with the same level of quality and attention to detail that fans of Level-5 and Studio Ghibli have come to expect."
Hey, if it's going to take a bit of time to ensure that Ni no Kuni is running properly and bug-free, I can be patient. I mean, it'll be hard, but I'll do my best to wait for the game. Personally, though, I think the game may be pushed back to early 2013. I really hope that's not the case, but I think there's a big possibility that it will happen.
In any case, at least we have an update on the game. Ni no Kuni didn't sell quite as well in Japan as a lot of individuals expected, so here's hoping it succeeds when we get it over here. Winter 2012, please just get here already!
