EDIT: Twitter user @drewlookinboy reached out to us to clarify that the PlayStation 4 version is set to release on Tuesday but the Xbox One and PC versions won't be out until July 27th, 2017. This is presumably due to the deal between PlayStation and Activision that guarentees PS4 gets all Call of Duty DLC a month early. While this isn't DLC, there's likely something in their contract that prevents them from releasing this on all platforms at once.

Original Story:
Possibly one of the worst kept secrets in gaming for 2017 is the standalone release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The critically acclaimed FPS was remastered last year but you could only purchase it if you got one of the collector's editions for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Some fans weren't really happy with that so they've been holding out for a standalone release.
After months of leaks suggesting it's coming, it appears it is actually happening. Earlier this week, Target started making shelf space for the game and gave it a price point of $39.99 but now, copies have actually begun to show up in stores. Along with that, the game has been given a release date of June 27th, 2017, AKA next Tuesday.
We still have no confirmation from Activision so it seems like this might be a "surprise" release and they'll announce it by the end of the week or early next week. Either way, if you've been holding out for a standalone release, you won't have to wait much longer.
