UPDATE: It would appear achievements have been added to Marvel Ultimate Alliance as one just popped for me as I was playing, the game still doesn't show up on any achievement tracking sites but it would appear the achievements are now available.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance and its sequel have been plagued with issues both on consoles and PC since they released just two days ago for PlayStation 4 and PC. The first game is missing DLC and the re-releases just feel like lazy and messy ports put out for a cheap cash grab. Xbox One players have had to wait a couple extra days to play the superhero brawler as the game suffered a last minute delay for unknown reasons.
When I went to purchase my copies of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and its sequel on Xbox One this morning, I waited about an hour for the first game to finish installing and I was ready to dig deep into it when it finished. As someone who really enjoys the satisfaction of popping achievements, before I went beyond the start menu I rushed to the achievements tab on Xbox One to find none existed for the title. I figured it must be a glitch, right? Nope! After digging around and looking for a list of achievements on popular achievement tracking sites like XboxAchievements and Exophase, I couldn't find a list for the Xbox One version.
The second game in the two game bundle DOES indeed have its achievements, but the first game's achievements remain non-existent at the time of writing. To make it even stranger, the PS4 version of the game includes trophies for the first and second game.
Hopefully this is just a mistake and the achievements get patched in soon, but it does further prove how lazy and messy this re-release was if they didn't even realize the achievements were gone. The trophies for the game are live however, so players can play and look at the trophy list to see what they need to do to obtain achievements but who knows if the game will recognize progress made by players when they hopefully patch the achievements in.
