Do not turn on your Wii U to play Super Smash Bros. today. It may sound like fun, but it will leave you with a brick instead of a Wii U.
Reports are coming in from all across the web claiming that upon booting up Super Smash Bros. on a Wii U, Error Codes appear and mayhem breaks out.
The Error Codes in question are 160-0103 and 160-1710. The two codes claim memory issues and often result in complete Wii U memory wipes and bricked systems. Turning the Wii U on and off again does not alleviate the issue, nor does reformatting your Wii U's system. The cause of the Error Codes has not been determined, but if you have already suffered from these Error Codes and have a bricked Wii U as a result – contact Nintendo. They will repair the Wii U for you.
We will update with solutions or the cause of the Error Codes as they are revealed.

Update: The Error Codes are not an isolated incident (in terms of being on Smash) and has occured with the Wii U before. It is quite possibly an issue with the internal flash chip. Contact Nintendo if experiencing issues. [X]
