Updated: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt unlocks at the same time world-wide; Pre-load now available

This week might as well be the Witcher 3's week

**Update: Witcher 3 will launch at the same time globally (1am CET on May 19) on all platforms.**

CD Projekt Red has been pretty busy this week. First they released some awesome 4K screenshots, then they revealed that the game is complete, and then the senior game designer for Witcher 3 revealed a bunch of details about gameplay, nudity and more. That's not all though, CD Projekt Red isn't done yet.

Now, the developers have made The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt available for pre-order and pre-load on the PS4, Xbox One and PC — at a discount! If you pre-order The Witcher 3 before May 18 you will save 10%, making the game $54 instead of $60.

**As if that wasn't enough, those of you that pre-order on the PS4 and Xbox One can start playing the game a few hours before it actually releases (at 4PM PDT / 7 PM  EDT).** Making a game like Witcher 3 available for download so far before its release is a pretty nice gesture from CD Projekt Red — it helps out anyone that has a rough time with internet.

According to Steam, Sony and Microsoft the download size for the PC and PS4 versions will have a minumum save size of 35GB, and the Xbox One version will be 25GB (probably related to file compression — right guys?).
