How does brand new matchmaking and new customization options sound? Well not only is it a thing, but they will be released on April 10th. The significance of this date is that it is also the launch date for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Phantoms on Steam and PC.
The new matchmaking system will completely overhauls the old. This new system will still take in account the individual player’s skill but it will also factor in the player’s equipment when creating teams. This will lead to better matchmaking equality for a better gameplay experience.
A new ModMaster system will allow for more detailed customization. These new options include weapon and body camouflage as well as many other options. “We wanted to find a way for players to differentiate themselves on the battlefield and create weapons that fit their style, so we created ModMaster to put that power in the hands of our players. This new system is also more cost savvy for players and creates more than half a million weapon configuration possibilities including fire rate, handling, scope and ready-time decisions,” explained Simon Davis, lead designer.
