Valkyria Chronicles Remastered confirmed for Western release on PS4

Time to triple dip!

If you were a PS3 gamer back during its hey-day, then you've probably played a little gem from Sega called Valkyria Chronicles. Then, much later, you've probably fondly remembered this game and was extremely excited to replay it in an updated resolution and framerate on your PC. During the weekend, we mentioned that SEGA was teasing a possible re-release on the PS4.

Well, today, I'm here to tell you that you will get to triple dip this fantastic title. And hey, if you're a recent convert to Sony's new console, then you'll finally get a chance to experience one of the better games the PS3 had to offer.

Valkyria Chronicles revolves around Squad 7 as you try to push the Empire out of Gallia, as you take control of various members of the Squad.

Much like the Steam re-release, the game will support 1080p/60fps gameplay, dual-audio tracks, all DLC already built into the game, and lastly adding trophy support. And, those that pre-order the game or pick it up on launch day will get the game in a premium metal Squad 7 Armored case. Yep, you read right. You'll be able to get Valkyria Chronicles Remastered both physicically and digitally.

As of right now, there is no official release date, but the game is slated for Spring 2016.
