VICE Media and Bethesda partner to launch new Dishonored inspired online channel

VICE Media and Bethesda Softworks have announced the launch of a new online channel, EyeForAnEye.vice.com.

Inspired by themes found in Bethesda's upcoming first-person action game, Dishonored, the channel will contain editorial features, online videos, and photo essays all based on the game's ideas of retribution, retaliation, and vindication.

Dishonored, which is currently under development at Arkane Studios, puts players in the role of Corvo, "a supernatural assassin who is driven by revenge after being framed for a murder he did not commit." In the game you will combine supernatural abilities with weapons and gadgets to dispose of the corrupt government armed with strange technologies.

The first episode to air in the Eye for an Eye video series will be "Revenge of the Robodeer". Future installments will focus on instances of revenge and vindication.

Dishonored is set to release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in North America on October 9, 2012 and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012.
