The eighth installment in the Fast and the Furious series, The Fate of the Furious, has been destroying the box offices since it released last week, but the producers and cast are already talking about where the series will go next.
It appears as though we will be in the Fast and Furious franchise for another two films. Fast and the Furious 9 and 10 have been confirmed for 19 April 2019 and 2 April 2021, respectively, with Vin Diesel and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson said to be making a return.
"We have some big themes and things we're talking about, we’re just not there in terms of where exactly we're gonna go yet," series producer Neal Moritz said to Collider. "We kind of have the ending point of the franchise, but we don’t know the in-betweens yet."
It's unclear who else will be making a return in 9 and 10, but it's the producer is looking to get Charlize Theron back as an antagonist.
