Visionbooks and Valiant Entertainment partners up to release X-O Manowar series

A few months ago, we told you about the new tablet app, Visionbooks, that aims to change the way comic books are read and experienced. This is done through animated panels, breathing life into characters and action scenes that overwise would have remained completely static in a standard comic.

Today, Visionbooks is announcing a new partnership agreement with award-winning comic book publisher, Valiant Entertainment, and with that, the release of X-O Manowar #1 on the Visionbooks app. Even those that have already read through the comic can relive the story through animated panels.

What's even better, if you're interested in this particular issue, X-O Manowar #1 is completely free of charge, as well as the Visionbooks app itself, while issues #2,3 and 4 are priced at $2.99 each.

Visionbooks other partnerships include Asylum Press, Arcana, Real Interface Studios, A.P.N.G. Enterprises, Vanquish Interactive, Pavesio and Cavaletto.

You can head over to iTunes or Google Play to download the Visionbooks app free.

Furthermore, if you don't have a tablet of your own, you can win an iPad Mini in our giveaway! Just head over to this page to check out the contest rules, and you might just win yourself a brand new iPad Mini.
