5pb Puts Virtual Girlfriends In Your Pocket

Bishoujo game developer 5pb will be bringing a few of its major titles, Memories Off 6 and Chaos;Head to the iPhone/iPad devices starting this fall. Announced late last week in Japan, Chaos; Head Noah is a visual novel that was originally released for the PC and Xbox 360 in February 2009 while Memories Off T-Wave is a visual novel that was released back on the PlayStation 2 in August 2008.

In an interview with Dengeki magazine, 5pb CEO Chiyomaru Shikura originally stated about his intentions to bring visual novels onto portable devices such as the 3DS and iDevice as he feels that their touch-based interfaces works well with the genre. Although it remains seen on whether or not if any brave fansub groups are willing to work with the 5pb chairman, gamers should be happy to know that their publisher Nitro+ is currently working with Peter Payne’s JAST USA on a Demonbane localization and if it sells well enough 5pb may very well be open to negotiations. So stop that torrent and head over to the JAST site; assuming your of age of course.
