True to yesterday’s rumor, Sony today announced Vote to Play, a PlayStation Plus poll which lets subscribers vote on the PS4 games for the upcoming month’s Instant Game Collection.
Only one of each month’s PS4 freebies will be picked via Vote to Play, but several games will be eligible for the spot. For the first round of voting, runner-ups will be available at a discount for an unspecified period.
Sony has yet to confirm when Vote to Play will become available, but it is likely September will be the first to feature PS Plus democracy. Next month’s freebies have already been confirmed, and Sony probably wouldn’t have announced the service if it were still months away.
The games that will be up for voting have also yet to be revealed. Fortunately, Sony says additional details are on their way.
