Guncraft is a voxel-based shooter developed by Exato Game Studios and published by Reverb, where players build maps, characters and weapons in a Minecraft-like manner. The difference is that while you build and design in Guncraft, it all takes place during first-person shooter matches. The mix of the two, combined with some truly unique match types, makes for a really special experience.
Today, Exato Game Studio and Reverb announced that Guncraft is launching worldwide on Steam on August 9, 2013. New features with the Steam release are Steam Achievements, Steam Leaderboards, Steam Trading Cards (YAY!) and Racing Mode, where you race alone or with a friend in a co-op double dash style to see who can be number one.
In Guncraft, there are over eight different game modes for up to 16 players. Two of the more unique ones are:
Guncraft also features player-controlled vehicles, perks, killstreaks, class load-outs, a clan system and ranks. Word to the wise: snipers OP son!
Guncraft will cost $14.99 when it launched on August 9.
