Koei Tecmo is planning on offering a new VR experience this summer called 'VR Sense.' The experience will be bringing both new and current titles into VR at an amusement facility, but it comes with a twist.
According to a report from Famitsu (via Siliconera), the recently announced Super Sengoku Coaster will be at the event, as will a VR Sense version of Dead or Alive Xtreme. Now, this VR experience won't simply make the game available in VR for your eyes, it allows other senses too – that's why it's called VR Sense.
The virtual reality experience pod was created with the intention of stimulating the five senses through a number of features, including multipurpose 3D seat, scent, touch, wind, warmth, coolness, and mist.
'Dead or Alive Xtreme Sense,' the VR Sense version of the game, will allow players to 'hang out' with the game's heroines, as well as "smell" them through a scent function and feel a splash of water, thanks to the VR experiences water misting feature. The game will also feature a special "Viewing Time" if a player gets a high score.
Koei Tecmo detailed that the special VR Sense games will also be available as PS VR titles at some point. Among other titles shown off, Ultra Samurai Coaster, GI Jockey Sense, Horror Sense: Durama-san ga Koronda, and Ultra Dynasty Warriors were all mentioned with special sense tingling features.
