War of the Roses getting new content next month

War of the Roses has been available on PC for just under two weeks now, and so far it's received its fair amount of praise. The game offers up an intense action-packed experience across 15th century England, pitting up to 64 players against one another in bloody sword, ranged, and mounted battles.

If you've been enjoying the game and look forward to engaging in more fierce online battles, you may be glad to know that Paradox Interactive and Fatshark have new content planned for the game. The following is a list of added items coming to War of the Roses:

  • One new Milanese Knights Hospitaller crafted with heavy armor
  • Gothic mace, rondel dagger, halberd, Hospitaller pollaxe, horn spanned crossbow, new arming sword, and Italian side sword
  • A new helmet
  • Four new visors

Players will be able to purchase the content using any in-game currency they've earned so far, but there will also be an option to purchase in-game currency using real-world money. The content will be available sometime next month, and new maps and modes are expected to launch in the future.
