In Early November of 2014, Blizzard held their annual event, BlizzCon, at the Anaheim Convention Center. The event was filled to the brim with fans of Blizzard games, announcements and exclusive looks at everything related to Blizzard.
Some of the BlizzCon attendees had access to a screening of the trailer for the upcoming live-action Warcraft movie directed by Duncan Jones.
Buffed, a German website, was at the event and while they couldn't share what they saw through a video…They could share it through drawings and that is exactly what they did. They even broke down the video, in a play by play. We will get into that below – the images are in the upper right. The trailer featured a mix of CGI and live-action, Travis Fimmel – the actor play Sir Anduin Lothar, noted that "the visual effects are brilliant" in an interview with IGN…So don't worry about the CGI.
The trailer begins in Stormwind City, moves to orcs – desolate and in need, then moves to Dalaran with a message that war is coming. The final two scenes are of Medivh's apprentice walking through the streets and the final scene is of the very realistic looking Frostwolf chief Duraton and his pregnant wife Drakka.
