Warframe’s 14.5 Update brings new mods and weapons to PS4 and Xbox One

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Warframe have received a update (version 14.5) today, introducing a ton of new content to the free-to-play game.

First off, Mod cards have been arranged in a more stream line manner, you will be able to scroll through a larger list of Mods that clearly display rarity and ranking. Another part of the Mod update is that Capacity information will respond in real-time and offer a detailed breakdown changes.

A brand new game mode has also arrived with the update. Excavation replace terrestrial versions of Survival missions. The game mode goes like this: Players gather up power cores from marked enemies in order to fuel a Scanner. Once the Scanner is fueled up it will locate an area to drop an Excavator. Then players will have to get to a dig site, power the drill, and defend itfrom waves of enemies. Sounds similar to a horde mode.

The update has also given way to an icy new weapon, the Glaxion. It give you the power to freeze your enemies into blocks of ice! Along with Glaxion comes Konen (it comes with a unique Stance Mod), the Karyst Dagger and the microwave pistol Nukor.

There are a bunch of new deals on Prime Accessories and Platinum through Prime Access. So if you feel like paying you can grab Nyx Prime, Hikou Prime, Scindo Prime, Targis Prime Armor, and the Vala Sugatra Prime. You can check out the rest of the Prime Access on the PlayStation Blog.
