WarGroove is Advance Wars Meets Fire Emblem From Chucklefish

WarGroove is the next title from Chucklefish, the publishers behind Stardew Valley, which recently had a Switch release announced with multiplayer. WarGroove is a new tactical RPG akin to Fire Emblem and Advance Wars that will release first on the Nintendo Switch.

We had heard rumblings of this game a while back, along with a Wizarding RPG like Harry Potter from the same developers. Now we've seen more details. The gameplay definitely resembles more of an Advance Wars feel, but the dialogue looks to be more like Fire Emblem and there seems to also be named hero units as well.

During the Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase, the game was shown in action. There was also video footage of what seemed to be a level editor. Lastly, local and online multiplayer was announced. If the comparison to Advance Wars is true, this game could prove to be very capable of multiplayer.
