Warhammer 40K joins the MOBA trend with Dark Nexus Arena

MOBAs are, like, so in right now. So it makes sense that the guys from Warhammer 40K would take on the genre eventually and that’s what they’re doing with Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena (which also doubles as a fantastic name for a lipstick).

Set to hit Steam Early Access on December 9th, the game will take on a Mojoverse personality with Dark Eldar kidnapping champions and making them battle for amusement. As one does.

The MOBA market is a pretty crowded place these days and getting your game noticed, let alone embraced, is no small feat. With that in mind the developer Whitebox Interactive will be attempting to appeal to audiences with a sort of twin-stick shooter approach and traditional MOBA mashup.
