Warner Bros. allegedly attempting to secure rights for live-action Attack on Titan film

...Don't make it suck.

Last month we finally got a look at the highly anticipated second season of Attack on Titan, a popular anime that pits humans against titans. Now, the popular manga turned anime is in the throes of attempting to become a live-action film in the West.

The manga/anime has already been turned into a live-action film in Japan, though the story was tweaked in such a way that there was a slight upset from the community

According to a report from Deadline, Warner Bros. is in negotiation to get the rights to the anime/manga, which was written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The report goes on to further state that the producer of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, David Heyman, will be set to produce this live-action iteration of the film.

The live-action film was detailed to be done in two parts.
