Batman: Arkham Origins wasn't the only game revealed by Warner Bros. today. Announced via GameInformer, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will be a handheld title, the first for the Arkham series.
Arkham Origins Blackgate will release on Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita on the same day as the home console version, October 25, 2013. This "2.5-D Metroid-style exploration action game" is a "completely separate experience that takes place after the events of Arkham Origins."
Development of this handheld exclusive will be handled by Armature Studio, who previously partnered with Kojima Productions and Bluepoint Games to developer Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the Vita.
