Warner Brothers just announced two new untitled "event films", one for 2019 and one for 2020, and it's a safe bet to assume that at least one of them is a new DC Comics movies.
While they are still untitled they already have release dates, the first one is due on September 27, 2019, and the other one is supposed to come out February 7, 2020, as we can see in the tweet bellow.
Stop the presses! UNTITLED WB EVENT FILMS are now set for 9/27/19 and 2/7/20.

This would fit in nicely with the current DC movie schedule:
-
Wonder Woman, June 2, 2017
-
Justice League, November 17, 2017
-
Aquaman, July 27, 2018
-
The Flash, March 16, 2018
-
Untitled DC Film, October 5, 2018
-
Shazam, April 5, 2019
-
Justice League, June 14, 2019
-
Untitled DC Film, November 1, 2019
-
Cyborg, April 3, 2020
-
Green Lantern Corps, July 24, 2020
That leaves Man of Steel 2, Batman, and Dark Universe without official release dates.
The general theory around the net about this is that the newly announced release dates applies to the Batman film on September 27, 2019, and on Man of Steel 2 on February 7, 2020
Whatever ends up happening, if these dates turn out to be dates for DC films or not, one thing is for sure, Warner Brothers, DC Films and president Geoff Johns have a lot ahead of them, more than a few late nights at the office, or film set rather. Looking at the schedule above it sure seems like DC movies are going to take over the big screen over the next couple of years, and I am not complaining, I happen to be one those who loves DC Comics' movies.
What do you think, are these two mystery dates reserved for DC movies or are we comic fans reading too much into this?
