Techland's upcoming zombie-survival game Dying Light is coming to current and next-generation consoles in 2014 — but not Nintendo's Wii U.
Those release plans include PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. So why is publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment skipping over Nintendo's system, which launched only late last year?
The company hasn't said, but its decision could reflect the troubled state of the console, which has been struggling with sales. WBIE recently experienced problems with downloadable content for the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Now that DLC isn't coming until summer. The game is also missing content found in the other versions.
However, WBIE is releasing Scribblenauts Unmasked for Wii U as well as other consoles later this year, so it's not abandoning the platform completely.
