Warner Bros. issues statement on Batman: Arkham Knight’s PC issues

Earlier today we detailed the issues that PC adopters of Batman: Arkham Knight have been facing. The game has been nearly unplayable for a majority of players and those who do get to play run into frame-rate drops as low as 5fps.

Rocksteady has not been ignoring the pleas of PC gamers that have been faced with the frustrations associated with Arkham Knight's PC launch. The developers have issued a statement saying that they are taking the situation "very seriously" and are working with their external PC development partner, Iron Galaxy Studios to address these issues.

It's interesting to note that both Mortal Kombat X and Arkham Knight had outsourced PC development (for the most part) and both have faced a rough PC launch.

The statement from Rocksteady on the Warner Bros. Batman: Arkham Knight forums reads as follows:

Hi all

We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.

We'll update this thread when we've got more info to share.

It's great to see that Rocksteady is addressing the issue, hopefully the situation is resolved sooner than not.
