Warner Bros. releases first official look of Diana from Wonder Woman standalone film

When Said Taghmaoui posted and quickly deleted an in-costume shot of himself and Chris Pine on the set of Wonder Woman it revealed itself as a snafu that let the cat out of the bag that filming had already commenced. However, less than a week later Warner Bros. has issued an official press release announcing that principal photography is underway and with that announcement came the first look of Gal Gadot as Diana.

Though the first stand alone Wonder Woman feature film won’t see the silver screen until June of 2017, Gadot will debut the role in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice early next year.

Wonder Woman will boast a cast of not only Gadot, Pine and Taghmaoui but also feature Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis and more. It’s also being directed by Patty Jenkins, who previously made AMC’s The Killing and Monster staring Charlize Theron.
