Warner Bros. World theme park to open next year; Features Metropolis and Gotham

While Disney is hard at work bringing the Star Wars Land expansion to Disney theme parks to life, Warner Bros. is cooking up their own $1 billion theme park with Abu Dhabi's Miral. The theme park is set to open up next year as an indoor theme park that will "authentically bring some of the studio’s most iconic characters and stories to life."

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island has been detailed include thrill rides, interactive family-friendly attractions, and live entertainment

Of the six worlds at the theme park, visitors will see Superman's Metropolis as a modern-styled city of towering skyscrapers and Gotham as a much darker world with plenty of dark alleys.

In addition to the Superman and Batman themed areas, there will be 'Cartoon Junction' which will bring together Bugs Bunny and Scooby-Doo, 'Bedrock' which will be Flintstones themed, and 'Dynamite Gulch' which will be themed after the Looney Tunes.

If you want to visit Warner Bros. World, you'll have to go to Yas Island.
