Esteemed comic book writer will be the show runner for a Castlevania animated series slated for release later this year on Netflix. The show will focus on the last surviving member of the Belmont clan as they try to save Eastern Europe from Vlad Dracula Tepe.
This series was announced several years ago by producer Adi Shankar and has now been ordered for 4, 30-minute episodes to form a part 1 to a first season. At the time, Shankar stated that the series would be based on Castlevania III, but today’s announcement today did not specify that fact. No release date has been announced either, but a part 2 will release in 2018 as well.
