Warzone shows Rebirth Island gameplay, Season One fully detailed

Largest content drop in Black Ops history

Activision and Treyarch released the first gameplay trailer for Season One of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Among the first actual look at the new Rebirth Island map, we also learn more about all the new season’s contents. Watch the trailer here!

Call of Duty Warzone enters its next phase. And to do that, it goes back in time by collaborating with Black Ops Cold War going forward. What better reason to kick off this new partnership with a massive new free content drop?

Rebirth Island is without a doubt the biggest part of that equation. It’s a brand-new island map that ought to bring plenty of exciting new action to Warzone’s frantic experience. But there’s so much more to look forward to with Season One.

Expect intense, close-quarter action with a similar playstyle to Warzone’s Mini BR mode as Rebirth Island comes to Warzone. Planned playlists include Trios and Quads with a lower player count than in Verdansk, amping up the action and intensity.

Of similar importance are the changes to the Gulag. Both Verdansk and Rebirth Island receive an overhauled and new Gulag Experience. Each map sports a unique Gulag map, with an era-compliant Cold War theme.
