Horizon: Zero Dawn isn't quite done telling its story with its expansion The Frozen Wilds just around the corner. After being revealed at E3 2017, there hasn't been much talk regarding the expansion, but you can expect that to change in the days ahead. Developer Guerrilla Games recently released a new Developer Walkthrough (via the PlayStation Blog) of a quest called The Survivor. The quests tasks Aloy with tracking down two Banuk hunters who have gone missing in the harsh blizzard.

Guerrilla Games notes a particular emphasis on "the dynamic nature" of Frozen Wilds' wind and snow particles as a means of enhancing immersion by affecting the player's visibility. There are loads of little environmental details, such as snow flattening out when a machine collapses on it and the footprints that Aloy and her companion leave as they run.
The developers have also said that the expansion will bring new learnable skills that can be unlocked even for players that have already hit the Level 50 cap. Horizon: Zero Dawn's The Frozen Wilds expansion releases next week on November 7th, 2017.
