Watch 20 minutes of The Sims 4 gameplay

EA and Maxis have released a brand new video featuring 20 minutes of gameplay from The Sims 4. In it, producers Ryan Vaughan and Graham Nardone walk us through a number of features from the latest Sims game including the in-depth Create-A-Sim (which you may have already seen here) and actual live gameplay.

During the 20-minutes, Vaughan and Nardone discuss a number of new elements in The Sims 4, most notably the increased emphasis placed on Sims' emotion. They basically walk us through a day in the life of a Sim in The Sims 4, showing off the different types of interactions which are dependent on the mood or emotion of your Sim. They also highlight how easy it is to travel to different neighborhoods and import custom user-created content using the Gallery. Wrapping it all together, the two throw a little party that's interrupted by a surprising guest.

This is actually the same setup that EA had at E3 last month, so all of this stuff is already familiar to me. For those who haven't been keeping up with coverage of The Sims 4, well, this basically represents how you could be playing the game upon release come September 2nd.
